Establishment of the Endowment
The Mathabah Endowment was established to serve and enhance Hajj, driven by our awareness of the vital need for financial support for the Mathabah Consultancy Office, which focuses on administrative, economic, and regulatory services and operates on a non-profit basis. The noble scientific mission of the endowment is continuous and will remain so until the Day of Judgment. Through this endowment, we aim to support its research and projects. It was founded to provide an opportunity for benefactors to contribute to this great cause, with endless rewards for serving a fundamental pillar that remains steadfast, just as the righteous predecessors did. As Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “I do not know of anyone among the emigrants and Ansar who did not dedicate a portion of their wealth as a perpetual charity , that can never be sold, nor gifted, nor inherited.”
Endowment Expenses
The approved use of the endowment proceeds, as per the endowment deed, includes anything that serves Hajj, Umrah, Makkah, Madinah, and the Holy Sites, including research, studies, ideas, and development, as determined by the Endowment Board of Trustees.
Board of Trustees of the Endowment
When selecting the members of the Mathabah Endowment Board of Trustees, we ensured they possess qualities of righteousness, strength, responsibility, integrity, knowledge, experience, and a wide range of diverse and specialized skills. They are from the Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah (the Sunni Muslim community).
We ask Allah, the Almighty, to accept this endowment and make it a shield from Jahannam for all those who contributed, a means of earning the pleasure of the Most Merciful, and a source of blessings in life, offspring, and wealth.
